FC Pro Leagues: What You Need To Know

After an action-packed FC Pro Open that ended with PHzin winning the first silverware of FC 24, all eyes are now turning to the FC Pro Leagues.

EA has partnered with some of the biggest football leagues in the world, including household names such as the Premier League, Ligue 1 Uber Eats and MLS, to harness the football world in one centralized esports competition.

Top players will represent the various football clubs in the domestic tournaments and will not only aim for national glory but also direct tickets to the FC Pro World Championships. On top of that, they will also be targeting for a slice of the total $1.3 million prize money distributed across FC Pro Leagues.

Meanwhile, fans can get involved by watching the games and earn upgraded Ultimate Team items.

Which Leagues Have Partnered With EA for the FC Pro Leagues?

EA has partnered with over 30 of the biggest football leagues all over the world for the FC Pro Leagues. The breakdown below shows all the FC Pro Leagues for the 2024 season:

Who Qualifies for the eChampions League?

The top performers in European FC Pro Leagues will book their spots in this season’s eChampions League Group Stages.

Six of Europe’s top leagues, i.e the ePremier League, LaLiga FC Pro, WOW Virtual Bundesliga, eLigue 1 Uber Eats, eSerie A TIM and KPN eDivisie, have four seats in the eCL Group Stages. Ekstraklasa Games has been awarded two seats, while the remaining leagues have been awarded one seat, which means only the top team in those respective leagues will advance to the eCL.

FC Pro World Championship

The FC Pro World Championship is the culmination of this season’s FC Pro and will see a total of 32 players compete to be crowned the World Champion of EA SPORTS FC 24.

PHzin, Vejrgang, Levi de Weerd and Emre Yilmaz already booked their spots in the competition after finishing in the top four of the FC Pro Open. The remaining 28 spots will be filled by players from various FC Pro Leagues around the world.

20 spots will be given directly to the leagues shown below:

  • ePremier League (United Kingdom) – 2
  • WOW Virtual Bundesliga (Germany) – 2
  • eLigue 1 Uber Eats (France) – 2
  • LALIGA FC Pro (Spain) – 2
  • KPN eDivisie (Netherlands) – 2
  • eSerie A TIM (Italy) – 2
  • CONMEBOL eLibertadores (LATAM) – 2
  • eMLS (US and Canada) – 2
  • Ekstraklasa Games (Poland) – 1
  • E-League (Australia) – 1
  • eLPF (Argentina) – 1
  • eSPL (Saudi Arabia) – 1

The remaining eight spots in the FC Pro World Championship will then be filled through the Play-Ins. A total of 20 players from different partner leagues around the world will be competing in the Play-Ins, but only the top eight will advance to the World Championships.

Fans can follow the FC Pro Leagues on Twitch and YouTube channels of the various leagues. Some of the matches will also be streamed on the official EA Sports FC Twitch and YouTube channels, with various Showdown Squad Building Challenges adding more spice to the overall process by keeping fans engaged.
