eDivisie Returns For Its Seventh Season

A brand-new season of KPN eDivisie is on the horizon, and it’s shaping up to be a thrilling ride.

The KPN eDivisie is the official Dutch EA SPORTS FC 24 competition and is part of the newly created FC Pro ecosystem. The championship will be played exclusively on PlayStation 5 and will use FC 24 Ultimate Team as the main gaming mode.

With higher stakes, fiercer competition, and a surge of talent, this season guarantees an unparalleled esports experience. Join us as we unravel the details of what Season VII has in store for us all!

New Entrants

As the curtains rise on Season VII, Vitesse stands tall as the reigning champions. They’re ready to defend their title, but they won’t have it easy. Heracles Almelo and PEC Zwolle are making their triumphant return to KPN eDivisie, while Almere City FC is stepping onto the virtual pitch for the very first time.

The Schedule

The action kicks off with the first head-to-head clashes between esports players from top-tier Dutch football clubs on November 7. Every Tuesday, the 18 eDivisie clubs compete against each other in the quest for the online national championship.

Here’s a sneak peek at the opening matches:

  • Newcomer Almere City FC faces off against Feyenoord
  • Heracles Almelo is back, and they’re taking on FC Utrecht, who reached the Finals last season.
  • Defending champs Vitesse go head-to-head with AZ.
  • Ajax squares off against Sparta Rotterdam.
  • PSV meets newly promoted PEC Zwolle.

The Prizes

Not only are they battling for pride and the official KPN eDivisie championship trophy, but there’s also a weekly showdown for a cool €50,000 in prize pool and a direct ticket to the FC Pro World Championship!

Champions Return

Season VII is loaded with champions. We’re talking former KPN eDivisie champions Dani Hagebeuk and Dani Visser, both returning for RKC Waalwijk and AZ, respectively. Ajax is bringing in Brazilian sensation Paulo Henrique Chaves, aka PHzin, fresh from winning the eNations Cup with Brazil last season. And let’s not forget 2v2 world champion Levi de Weerd!

But wait, there’s more! PSV is out for revenge, enlisting the help of world champion Manuel Bachoore and eChampions League winner Emre Yilmaz. The competition is stacked with world-class talent this time around.

All KPN eDivisie matches are streamed live every Tuesday from 5:30 PM CET to 8:30 PM CET on the KPN eDivisie YouTube and Twitch channels.
