Finding an affordable goalkeeper to sign in FC 24 Career Mode can be quite challenging. Well, that shouldn’t be a surprise, considering anyone who’s hoping to win titles needs a solid keeper at the back.
But if you’re not aiming for trophies in the first season and instead looking to rebuild your team on a budget, you’ll need a low budget goalkeeper who will grow as time goes by.
Here, we have a list of seven goalkeepers under €1 million to add to your team without having to break the bank. You’ve probably not heard about most of them, but they have tons of potentials. So just give them time and they could be the next superstars in your team.
1. Dennis Seimen – €925k
Dennis Seimen is one of the players who should be on the bucket list of everyone planning to rebuild their team on a budget. The VfB Stuttgart talent is arguably the best goalkeeper you’ll find for less than €1 million.
Seimen costs €925,000 and comes with a rating of 61. However, he could reach his full potential of 84 when given time to develop. His release clause is set at €2.6 million.
2. Alane Bedfian – €900k
Another respectable choice for anyone considering a goalkeeper worth less than €1 million is Alane Bedfian. The Bordeaux goalkeeper can be signed for €900,000, but that’s a bargain considering he has an 81 potential while his current overall rating is just 62.
And with his contract set to expire in 2025, you could get a great deal for him if you wait for the second season. The French goalie has a release clause of €2.2 million.
3. Kjell Peersman – €750k
A popular option for Career Mode players in FIFA 23, Kjell Peersman is also a fantastic choice if you’re looking for an affordable goalkeeper in FC 24. The PSV talent has an overall rating of 61 with the potential to reach 79 and a current value of €750,000.
In case you didn’t know, goalkeeping runs in his blood as his father, Tristan Peersman, was also a goalkeeper who played for clubs such as Willem II, Beveren and Anderlecht.
4. Grégoire Swiderski – €550k
Another promising goalkeeper going for less than a €1 million, Gregoire Swiderski has the potential to reach 79 while coming with an overall rating of just 59 in FC 24. The 17-year-old is currently undergoing his development at Bordeaux and could be a good addition to your squad.
5. Mike Penders – €875k
With his in-game value set at €875,000, Mike Penders is one of the hidden gems to sign in FC 24 Career Mode. Penders currently plays for Genk and we advise you sign him on a loan-to-buy deal in the first season before making his transfer permanent the following season.
If you train and play him constantly, he could turn into one of the best shot-stoppers in the game. His current in-game rating is 62 while his potential in Career Mode is set at 80.
6. Tomé Sousa – €625k
One of the emerging goalkeepers in the football world is Tomé Sousa. The Portuguese is just 16 years old and the developers at EA have given him an overall rating of 59 and an outstanding potential of 84.
Sousa is yet to make his professional debut for Boavista in Liga Portugal, however he is performing very well for the youth squad. So if you need an affordable goalie to keep your defenders on their toes, consider paying his transfer fee of €625k.
7. Max Schmitt – €350k
Over the years, Bayern Munich has produced legendary goalkeepers such as Oliver Khan and Manuel Never. Currently, in the academy, the Bavarians have Max Schmitt who could turn out to be another top star. The 2006 born shot-stopper has an overall rating of 55 but if given time to develop, he could reach his full potential, which is 78.
