What started as a modest part of the game to help you unlock defences has now turned into a full list of spins, feints and juggles used to show off in most cases. But isn’t it fun bringing those skills to the party, especially when you’re facing a weaker opponent?
So whether you are a seasoned gamer or a beginner who just wants to stun your opponents, here are five fancy skill moves to perform when leading. And to be fair, some of them can be effective for you at the same time.
1. Flair Rainbow
This is a brand-new skill move that arrived in FC 24. It is a 5-star skill move that when performed, the player will start to do a rainbow flick before bouncing the ball hard into the ground and over your opponent’s head. It is one of the skills that are not only fancy but can also effectively beat an opponent.

To perform the flair rainbow on PlayStation, hold the L1 button and flick your right stick backward and then flick it again forward. If you’re on Xbox, hold the LB button and then flick your right stick backward and then flick it again forward.
2. Fake Drag Back
Next up is the fake drag back. Just like the flair rainbow, you need a player with 5-star skills to execute this fancy move.
To perform the fake drag back, start by doing drag back and when your player is midway through, flick your left stick half a circle and then quickly hold it down. It sounds a bit hard because of the different buttons that have to be pressed almost at the same time. But with practice, you’ll master it and awe your opponents on the virtual pitch.
For beginners, the drag back can be performed by holding the R1 L1 buttons and then move your player backwards on PlayStation. If you’re playing on Xbox, hold RB and the LB buttons and then move your player backward.
3. Rainbow Flick
Majority of FC 24 gamers know how to do a rainbow flick, so to be honest with you, only beginners can be stunned by this skill move. However, you can make it look fancy by performing it when the ball is in the air.
To perform rainbow flick while the ball is in the air, start by juggling the ball and then flick your right stick backward and then forward twice. To juggle the ball, hold the L2 button and then start tapping the R1 button on PlayStation. If you’re on Xbox, hold the L2 button and then start tapping the RB button.
You can only perform rainbow flick while the ball is in the air with a player with five-star skill moves. This skill move is really cool and to be honest it can also be effective sometimes, especially if you’re playing against a weak opponent.
4. Trickster Flick
For this, you have to be using a player that has the Trickster PlayStyle. When preformed, your player will do a variety of free style flicks that can destroy an opponent.
Performing it is simple as you just have to press your right stick and then move your player with the left stick wherever you want him to perform the flick.
5. Cancelled Chest Flick
Finally, we have the cancelled chest flick, which can only be done when the ball is in the air. Besides being a fancy move, it is also one of the easiest skills to execute in FC 24.
To perform the cancelled chest flick, hold L2 and then pressing the right stick in twice on PlayStation. If you’re on Xbox, hold LT and then press the right stick in twice.
This is one of those skill moves you do if you want to score an acrobatic goal. Perform the cancelled chest flick and while the player is still juggling the ball with his chest, hit the shoot button.
