eFootball Championship 2024 World Finals Champions Crowned

The eFootball Championship 2024 has concluded at the KONAMI Creative Center Ginza in Tokyo, bringing together the top eFootball players from around the world. With over 39.76 million participants, the competition was fierce, and the event didn’t disappoint.

Event Highlights

Day 1: Group Stage (July 20th) The group stage kicked off with 32 players divided into groups of four, battling it out in a round-robin format. Points were awarded as follows: 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, and none for a loss. After six matches per platform, the top players moved on to the knockout stage.

Day 2: Knockout Stage (July 21st) On the second day, the top four players from each platform (Mobile and Console) faced off in elimination matches. These intense games determined the ultimate champions.

Rentao won the Mobile category after defeating Inter’s Gu_038games 2-0 in the grand final.

The Console category grand final was an all-Japanese duel, with Mayageka emerging victorious over his countryman Ax, claiming the world champion’s title with a 3-1 win. Both champions demonstrated great skill and strategy, earning their titles in style.

The journey began with the Club Event in December 2023 and the Open Event in January 2024, leading up to the final showdown in Tokyo.

The event was streamed live on YouTube and gathered over 2 million views, with commentary from Harry Channon, ex-pro player Alex Alguacil, and special guests like Harry Sugiyama. Fans who watched through the eFootball game’s special link received 1000 eFootball points, adding extra excitement.
