FC 24 Sliders: Best Settings To Try

EA SPORTS FC 24 is now available worldwide, and millions of players are looking to get the best virtual football experience out of it.

With new gameplay features introduced such as HyperMotionV, PlayStyles or an improved Frostbite engine, players can experience the best football simulator yet. However, as with every release, some gamers simply don’t click with the default gameplay.

Every gamer strives for a realistic yet challenging gameplay experience, and the key to achieving this lies in mastering the slider settings or try gameplay mods. Whether you’re tweaking the ‘User Sliders’ to perfect your team’s performance or adjusting the ‘CPU Sliders’ to challenge the AI, finding the right balance is an art.

Thanks to gameplay guru Matt10L and his community, we now have the best FC 24 slider settings that will enhance the gameplay realism in Career and Kick Off mode.

What Does These Slider Settings Improve?

These FC 24 gameplay slider settings aim to compliment custom team tactics, diversify passing sequences, improve defensive positioning for user and CPU teams, make goal scoring feel more earned especially with higher shot error values, ensure better tracking back by midfielders, and strike a balance between difficulty and realism in the game, contributing to a more engaging football simulation experience.

Before diving into the slider settings, here are a few general gameplay settings recommendations:

• Set shorter halves, under 8 mins preferably.
• Set gameplay speed to Slow.
• Enable injuries and yellow/red cards for a more realistic action.

Want to make it more difficult?

If the gameplay is still not challenging enough for you after using these sliders then be sure to follow these suggestions in order to increase the difficulty:

• Play FUMA: Implement Full Manual (FUMA) to enhance user control and interaction. This tactic demands greater precision and skill from the player, offering a more immersive and challenging experience.
• Lower CPU Error Values:  Adjust CPU error values for passing and shooting to lower settings. This change results in more accurate and reliable CPU gameplay, indirectly enhancing pass speed and overall play quality, even at lower pass speed settings.
• Increase CPU Sprint: Increase the CPU’s sprint speed to intensify the challenge. This adjustment makes it harder for players to outpace the CPU, as the CPU reacts and closes down on players more swiftly. Consider setting the game pace to ‘Slow’ rather than ‘Default’ to maintain realistic animations and game flow.
• Do not use R1 dribble: Avoid the R1 Dribble (controlled sprint) feature for players. While conceptually sound, its execution gives players an unfair advantage over the CPU, especially at lower difficulty levels. This change ensures a more balanced and realistic gameplay experience.
• Enable Player-Based Difficulty: Activate the Player-Based Difficulty setting, particularly at the World Class difficulty level. This feature adds depth and variety, impacting attackers, midfielders, and defenders without excessively skewing gameplay, as seen in Legendary difficulty.
