Hezers and ExeedVirgil_ booked their spots in the first-ever FC Pro World Championship which will take place in Riyadh this summer. They will also participate in this season’s eChampions League alongside Luconegua of Torino FC eSports and Juventus Dsyre’s DaniPitbull who reached the semi-finals.
With that said, let’s have a recap of how things unfolded during the eSerie A TIM Finals on Thursday (April 18) and Friday (April 19).
eSerie A TIM Finals Recap
The eSerie A TIM Finals started by Hezers beating Udinese’s Antonini Gabriel 3-2. Gabriel threatened to pull a comeback by scoring the second goal with a few minutes left to play but Hezers successfully retained the ball to record a crucial victory.
Many expected a goalfest in the second match between ExeedVirgil_ and US Salernitana’s Darkley11 after both players scored inside 25 minutes. However, what followed was a tense clash with both players missing good opportunities. ExeedVirgil_ capitalized on a mistake by his opponent with time running out to win the match 2-1.
DaniPitbull then had a difficult encounter against XSale98 of Empoli before securing a narrow 3-2 victory. The two-time champion started the match on a high note scoring in the second minute. However, XSale98 refused to stay down and levelled the scores shortly afterwards before taking a 2-1 lead.
DaniPitbull had to sweat to get back into the tie but as soon as he went in front, he never allowed his opponent the chance to level the scores.
