7 Best Teams to Play with Live Start Points in FC 25 Career Mode

EA Sports introduced an exciting new way to play Career Mode in EA Sports FC 25. The live start point feature allows players to begin their Career Mode journey at specific points based on real-world events throughout the 2024/25 season.

This feature is available for ten different leagues in the game: the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, EFL Championship, WSL, Liga F, Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, and Arkema Première Division. Additionally, most domestic and continental cups are also updated to reflect the real-world progress.

The real-world scenario applies not only to match results, cup progression, and league tables but also to injuries and suspensions, providing a more immersive experience when playing Career Mode. This allows you to start a new save at various points throughout the season and continue the club’s journey—this time with you in control.

There are plenty of storylines you can explore with this feature, whether it’s leading a dominant team to a league title or helping a struggling team fight for a better finish. In this article, we’ll highlight a few of them for you to explore!

Manchester United

The arrival of Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP as the new Manchester United manager sparked excitement not only among the fans but also in the footballing world in general. The Red Devils is currently 13th in the Premier League, and Amorim faces a tough job in turning Manchester United’s season around and leading the team back to the glory they deserve.

There are plenty of storylines you can create in EA Sports FC 25 Career Mode using Manchester United. If you’d like to step into Ruben Amorim’s shoes, you can either continue his work or start Career Mode at the end of November 2024, when he took charge of Manchester United against Ipswich Town.

Another unique storyline is attempting to save Erik ten Hag’s job at Manchester United. You can use the live start point at the end of October 2024, just before Manchester United faced West Ham United, and win that game to keep ten Hag at Old Trafford. This is the only way to play as Erik ten Hag in EA Sports FC 25 Career Mode on consoles without using any mods.

Bergamo Calcio

Atalanta BC, known as Bergamo Calcio in EA Sports FC 25, have never won Serie A in their more than a century-long history. However, this seasom they might have a big chance to achieve the unthinkable.

If you start Career Mode at the latest Live Start point, Bergamo Calcio currently sit at the top of Serie A. They have a two-point advantage over SSC Napoli, and your job is simple: lead them to their first Serie A trophy in history.

Valencia CF

At the start of the 2000s, Valencia was one of the biggest clubs in Spain. However, they experienced a massive decline in the early 2010s, and this season they are facing a relegation battle in LaLiga.

The latest live start point places Valencia CF near the bottom of the standings. They are currently sitting in 19th place, and your task is to save their season by getting them out of the relegation zone and rebuilding the team into title contenders, just like they once were.

Real Madrid Femenino

Other than live start points, the inclusion of women football is one of the biggest addition to EA Sports FC 25 career mode. Real Madrid Femenino is one of the most interesting teams to manage if you want to experience what it’s like to lead a women’s team.

The women’s team of Real Madrid is not as strong as their male counterparts. Founded in 2020, they have a long way to go if they want to rival FC Barcelona Femení, which is considered one of the best women’s teams in the world.

Las Blancas have started their season very well, and at the latest live start point, they’re currently 2nd in the standings. They’re trailing by 11 points to FC Barcelona Femeni, but have two games in hand compared to their rival. Your task is very simple, to lead Real Madrid Femenino topple their biggest rival and win their first ever league title in history.

Southampton

The Saints started their return to the Premier League very poorly. The latest live start point places them at the bottom of the standings, with just 5 points from 15 matches.

Getting them out of the relegation zone is definitely one of the biggest challenges in EA Sports FC 25 Career Mode. You can create your own manager to replace Russell Martin, who was sacked from his position in real life.

Sunderland

After suffering relegation from the Premier League in the 2016/17 season, Sunderland have struggled to return to the top flight. This season, however, is their best chance yet, as they sit in 4th place in the standings after 19 games.

You can continue their journey by taking over Sunderland using the Live Start point and aiming to finish in the top two for automatic promotion to the Premier League. With Jobe Bellingham as your star player and the fully licensed Stadium of Light, the Black Cats are definitely one of the most exciting teams to use in Career Mode with the Live Start point in the EFL Championship.

Manchester City

This season is probably the best moment if you want to start a Career Mode with Manchester City. The Manchester-based team unexpectedly suffered a horrendous run of form, which has put them out of the title race.

Injury problems are also a major challenge you’ll need to overcome, whether you’re managing as Pep Guardiola or your own custom manager. Their star player, Rodri, suffered a season-ending injury, and you’ll need to sign his replacement during the January transfer window to strengthen the squad and get the team back on track to challenge for the Premier League title.

That’s our most recommended team for you to use using the live start point feature in EA Sports FC 25 career mode. If you have another interesting team to use, let us know by leaving a comment or mentioning us on X at @theinfinityfc!
