Tekkz, who played in the first leg of the grand finals, didn’t start the round well. The English sensation was defeated by Jayden with a score of 4-2, giving Brighton & Hove Albion Esports the upper hand going into the second leg.
However, Bonanno showed why he’s one of the best EA Sports FC players in the world right now. The Argentine managed to pull off the unthinkable by beating Marley 4-1 in the second leg, making the final score 6-5 for the Manchester-based team.
Manchester City Esports also successfully defended their ePremier League title, having won the previous edition of the tournament and securing back-to-back championships. Tekkz and Bonanno will also take home £30,000 from the £100,000 total prize pool.

In addition to winning the trophy and prize money, Tekkz and Bonanno have also qualified for both the FC Pro 25 World Championship and the eChampions League 2025. This achievement serves as great motivation for both players, especially after a rough start to their FC 25 competitive season.
Previously, Bonanno failed to qualify for the FC Pro Open 2025, while Tekkz was eliminated in the group stage of the same tournament.
