EA just announced the release of a new Ultimate Team promo in FC 24 called Trailblazers!
If you’ve been wondering whether a player’s PlayStyles will remain constant throughout the Ultimate Team cycle, the newest promo provides clarity. EA has unveiled a new set of cards featuring permanent stat enhancements, along with modified PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ as part of the most recent promo in EA FC 24 – Trailblazers. According to EA, the Trailblazers are the standout performers of the season so far, having made an exceptional start to their league campaign.
The Trailblazers roster, comprising 14 players, is headlined by PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, whose PlayStyle+ has transitioned to Power Shots+ from the initial Quick Step+. Other distinguished players on this team include Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who will now pose an even greater defensive challenge due to his updated Technical+ PlayStyle, and Barcelona’s Caroline Hansen, who will aim to execute finesse shots from outside the penalty area. Alongside these player updates, EA has introduced several Objectives and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) for an opportunity to acquire additional Trailblazers.
In the Trailblazers pitch notes, EA indicated that this is just Team 1 of the Trailblazers series, hinting at the release of a new team in the upcoming week.

Interestingly, there are two MLS players in the first Trailblazers team. Also, unlike the previous promo, Trailblazers player cards are not dynamic in nature. These items will be in packs until Friday, October 20th.

As mentioned earlier, EA has also released themed SBCs for further engagement in FC Ultimate Team. The new SBCs include:

Trailblazers Objectives
Furthermore, EA has also prepared new Objectives that can be attained through gameplay alone, such as:
- Trailblazers Callum Wilson (Newcastle) – 86 OVR for which you need to complete the following challenges:
- Assist Away: Assist five goals in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions) using a player from the Premier League
- Technical Finisher: Score three finesse goals in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions)
- Brace Yourself: Score at least two goals per match in four separate matches in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions)
- Win 7: Win seven matches in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions) while having min. three Premier League players in your starting 11
Please be wary that even though Wilson looks like a solid card statistically, he only has 3 star Weak Foot and Skill Moves. This Objective is set to expire on Friday, October 20th at 6PM UK.
Next week we will see the release of Team 2 of this campaign that will bring even more high-rated cards in FC 24 Ultimate Team. Moreover, a number of themed Trailblazers Evolutions slots will be released during the two-week promo, allowing gamers to upgrade some of their favourite players in their club.
