EA has released FC 24’s Team of the Week 12 and in hindsight, this might be the worst of them all.
No less than 18 special Team of the Week player items, based on the performance of real world players in their domestic league games and international games, have been released in packs.
TOTW 12 is headlined by Lyon’s Ada Hegerberg, who was infamous in the early days of FC 24 due to having a glitched player item. The Norwegian striker bagged a clinical hattrick against Portugal in UEFA Women’s Nations League. Kieran Trippier who assisted Newcastle’s winner against Manchester United also gets an entry into TOTW 12. Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka are other notable entries in this iteration of Team of the Week. Sadly, Washington Spirit’s Trinity Rodman might be the only META player in the latest TOTW.
There are eight 83 rated players in this week’s selection – which is nothing short of a disappointment for FC 24 Ultimate Team fans. Even the higher rated TOTW cards such as Kroos, Hegerberg or Saka are simply not up to the power level at this point. Even the highly boosted lower rated cards like Bernardo or Romain Del Castillo will not possess huge threat to the opponents due to the lack of relevant Playstyles.
So without further delay, let’s have a look at TOTW 12!

These in-form cards will be available in packs until next Wednesday, December 13th.
FC 24 Team of the Week Changes
EA continues on enhancing the in-game presence of TOTW this year with three major updates:
- Enhanced Upgrades for Lower Rated Players: Lower-rated OVR players will receive significant upgrades, ensuring all TOTW players will be at least 80+ OVR from launch. After first TOTW refresh, all TOTW will be at least 83+ rated.
- Balanced Upgrades Across All Ranges: Players across all OVR ranges may receive proportionally larger upgrades in key stats like Pace or Dribbling to maintain balance with other content released simultaneously.
- Featured TOTW Items Upgrades: These particular items will be eligible for larger upgrades, including improvements in Weak Foot & Skill Moves. These upgrades will persist to the player’s subsequent TOTW versions. PlayStyles are planned to be introduced in the near future in order to infuse more personality into Featured TOTW Players.
