The wait is almost over for football gaming fans! UFL, the eagerly awaited football game from Strikerz Inc., is officially launching worldwide on September 12, 2024.
The developers at Strikerz Inc. have been working hard on UFL for nearly eight years. Their goal? To change the way we play football games. Unlike some other games like EA Sports FC or eFootball, UFL focuses on a “fair-to-play” model, meaning you can’t just buy your way to success. Eugene Nashilov, CEO of Strikerz Inc., said they want a player’s skill to be the main factor in their success, not how much money they spend.
Last year, the UFL team started closed alpha testing, letting more than 15,000 football fans try out the game from November 2023 to August 2024. This was followed by two stages of open beta testing in June and August 2024. Players created over 1.3 million in-game clubs during the beta, giving the developers lots of feedback to improve the game.
The game will be available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with no release set for PC.

Gameplay and Features
UFL is all about letting your skills shine. While it might not have official licenses for real-world teams and leagues, it offers an online mode similar to Ultimate Team, where you can build your squad by playing ranked matches. There’s also an offline mode to play against friends on the same console.
Even without official licenses, the game has already attracted a lot of attention. Over 1.5 million players downloaded the beta in its first weekend alone, showing how much interest there is in UFL.
