EA Sports finally released league upgrade packs through SBC on Tuesday (21/1), which received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. They allow players to grind packs in hopes of packing Team of the Year (TOTY) items.
It’s better to start preparing the packs now, so they’re ready to open once the full TOTY, TOTY Icons, and Honorable Mentions Players are released. Based on the previous years, the full release is scheduled to come next Friday (24/1).
With so many upgrades SBCs available right now, it’s important to submit your players into the correct one with the highest probabilty of getting TOTY players. This article will cover how to grind packs for TOTY in the most efficient way!
Which leagues upgrade SBC have the highest chance of packing TOTY?
EA Sports released five league upgrade SBCs, but some of them offer a higher chance of packing TOTY items than others. Here’s the full breakdown of how many TOTY items you can pack from the newly released league upgrade packs:
- Premier League & Barclays WSL: 9 TOTY items
- LaLiga & Liga F: 8 TOTY Items: 8 TOTY items
- Bundesliga & GPF-Bundesliga: 1 TOTY item
- Serie A & NWSL: 2 TOTY items
- Ligue 1 & Division 1 Féminine: 2 TOTY items
Based on the numbers of TOTY items available, Premier League and Barclays WSL have the most players with 9 TOTY items available to pack once they’re fully released. LaLiga and Liga F followed with 8 TOTY items, with both NWSL and Division 1 Femenine have 2 players, and Bundesliga only have 1 TOTY player available.
We recommend to only focus on Premier League & Barclays WSL and LaLiga & Liga F upgrades, as they have the most TOTY items available to pack. However if you’re looking for specific players from outside of those leagues, feel free to do your desired league upgrade SBCs.
How to grind TOTY Upgrade Packs in EA Sports FC 25?
The first step to grind packs for TOTY is completing the Daily Bronze, Silver, and Gold SBC. It’s the easiest way to generate common gold players every day, and they’re still available to do. You can generate 44 gold players by just submitting bronze and silver players.
The next step is deciding what to do with your common gold players. Currently there are 3 different SBCs to put your common gold players in to:
- Gold Upgrade
- 75+ player picks
- League specific upgrade
If you want to generate more rare gold players, so Gold Upgrade SBC is the one that you have to do. It gives you 2 rare gold players per pack, compared to the other which only give you 1 gold player.
However, we recommend to put your common gold players to league specific upgrade, especially the Premier League & Barclays WSL and LaLiga & Liga F SBC. Those SBCs not only give you a rare gold players, but also 4 common gold players that can be recycled again.
After getting rare gold players, we recommend to put all the rare gold players to Premium Premier League & Barclays WSL Upgrade SBC and Premium LaLiga & Liga F Upgrade SBC. Just like what we stated before, those SBCs have more TOTY items availbe to pack, therefore increasing your chance of packing them.
We recommend to only put rare gold players rated 75-81 into those SBC, as there are other SBCs that require you to submit higher rated players.
For rare gold players rated 82-87, there are a lot of upgrade SBCs that you can put them in to. Here are some of the SBCs that will generate high rated fodders:
- 83+ x10 Upgrades
- 85+ x4 Upgards
- 85+ Player Picks
- 83+ x5 ATT/MID/DEF Upgrades.
These high rated fodders can be used for ICON SBCs, Player SBCs, or ICON/Hero SBCS based on what you want or need.
