FIFAe Next Gen Event to Debut in Liverpool

FIFAe has announced its inaugural multi-title football esports event, the FIFAe Next Gen, scheduled to take place in Liverpool from August 28 to September 1. This groundbreaking event will feature both Football Manager and eFootball competitions.

Event Overview

The FIFAe Next Gen event marks a new chapter in football esports, bringing together players and fans from various football titles. With Liverpool being renowned for its deep-rooted football culture, the city is an ideal host for this prestigious event.

Twenty managers, each with an assistant, will compete in the first-ever FIFAe World Cup featuring Football Manager. Representing their nations, these competitors will compete for the title of world’s best and a share of the USD 100,000 prize pool. The winner will receive an exclusive invitation to the FIFA Diploma in Club Management, offering a rare chance to network with legendary football players and coaches and build a career in football.

On the final two days, the event will be streamed live on FIFAe channels, with popular host Spencer ‘SpencerFC’ Owen leading the show. Viewers can expect in-depth discussions on football, tactics, and Football Manager.

How to Participate in the FIFAe Fame Your Game Cup

In addition, the FIFAe Fame Your Game Cup will feature a special eFootball mobile showcase. Local players can join a 32-person qualifier on August 29 and the winner will compete against seven global leaders on August 30 for a share of the USD 50,000 prize pool.

The prize pool will consist of $13,000 for 1st place, $10,000 for 2nd place, $7,500 for 3rd and 4th place, $5,000 for 5th and 6th place, and $2,000 for 7th and 8th place.

Local players interested to participate can enter the competition by filling out a form. Entrants must be at least 16 years old and reside in specific postcodes (CH, L, PR, or WA). They must also bring their own mobile phone for the competition, which will be held in a mobile format.
