FC 24 Ultimate Team: Team of the Week 19 Revealed

Half of the members of TOTW 19 are 83 rated!

Team of the Week is in a terrible state at the moment. On one hand, the entire FC 24 Ultimate Team community is on a frenzy to pack a Team of the Year card to bolster their club and practically does not care about TOTW. On other hand, EA is not doing enough to make sure the newest Team of the Week cards are keeping up with the power curve of the game.

For instance, Team of the Week 19 is headlined by Chelsea Women’s Lauren James, who scored a hattrick against Manchester United Women’s in their 3-1 win. For her brilliant performance in a high profile match, James has been given an 87 rated TOTW card with some good stats and playstyles.

However her stamina, agility and composure are 77, 66 and 77 respectively, which are below par at this point in the game cycle. There are dozens of other good options in the game that are better than James, even though she has been performing exceptionally well for her club in real life.

Ferran Torres, who scored his first hattrick for Barcelona in his 100th appearance for the club, made his cut into TOTW 19. Notably, Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic also got into the latest TOTW thanks to his brace against Lecce in Juve’s 3-0 win. Even though these two cards have been given considerable upgrades, it may not be enough for the Ultimate Team fans to take Team of the Week seriously.

It’s not all bad here though as Lyon Women’s Salma Bacha, who had a wonderful outing against Montpellier Women, is potentially an elite card that is the part of TOTW 19.

It is disappointing to see that the relevance of TOTW cards has diminished to serving as fodder for SBCs. Anyway, that’s enough rant about the state of Team of the Week. Let’s take a look at the complete 18-player squad of TOTW 19.

FC 24 Team of the Week Changes

EA continues on enhancing the in-game presence of TOTW this year with three major updates:

  • Enhanced Upgrades for Lower Rated Players: Lower-rated OVR players will receive significant upgrades, ensuring all TOTW players will be at least 80+ OVR from launch. After first TOTW refresh, all TOTW will be at least 83+ rated.
  • Balanced Upgrades Across All Ranges: Players across all OVR ranges may receive proportionally larger upgrades in key stats like Pace or Dribbling to maintain balance with other content released simultaneously.
  • Featured TOTW Items Upgrades: These particular items will be eligible for larger upgrades, including improvements in Weak Foot & Skill Moves. These upgrades will persist to the player’s subsequent TOTW versions. PlayStyles are planned to be introduced in the near future in order to infuse more personality into Featured TOTW Players.

If you are still optimistic about Team of the Week, stay tuned for the release of TOTW 20 next week.

EA Sports FC 24 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
