EA SPORTS FC 24 is gearing up for the UEFA EURO 2024 with an exciting new update called the Festival of Football.
The latest title update introduces a host of new features, bringing fans closer to the action of one of the most prestigious football tournaments in Europe. Here’s a breakdown of what’s included in this massive update:
UEFA EURO 2024 Mode
The highlight of the update is the new UEFA EURO 2024 Game Mode that offers:
- Real-life Matches: Experience the excitement of the tournament with final, semi-final, and group-stage matches in nine authentic stadiums.
- Authentic Atmosphere: Enjoy real-life stadiums, broadcast packages, match balls, and the coveted Henri Delaunay Cup.
- Match of the Day: Play updated fixtures based on real-life tournament matchdays.
- Custom Tournaments: Create your own tournament with any European national team available in FC 24.
- Lead Your Nation: Play as an individual or create a custom Avatar to captain your team, complete training drills, and earn PlayStyles.
- Online Friendlies: Challenge friends in online friendlies, experiencing the final atmosphere at Berlin’s Olympiastadion. Cross-play is available for players on the same platform generation.
- The European Journey: Complete challenges themed around UEFA EURO 2024 across different game modes to earn rewards. The final reward will be revealed after the tournament concludes.
Allianz Arena will not feature in this update, as the stadium is exclusive to Konami eFootball.
Football Ultimate Team
The Festival of Football introduces exciting updates to FC 24 Ultimate Team as well:
- Path to Glory: Follow each nation’s progress and upgrade players based on their performance.
- Greats of the Game: Celebrate football legends with ICONs & Heroes, whose upgrades depend on their nation’s goals.
- New Loan Types: Introducing Timed Loans and Global Loans alongside traditional Match Loans, offering new squad-building opportunities.

- New Skill Move: The Double Touch Lane Change, a 4-star skill move, is perfect for players who enjoy technical play.

Manager Career Enhancements
Youth scouting and development receive significant updates:
- Youth Prospects: Managers can scout youth players with 90+ potential and seven PlayStyles. Players from your Youth Academy can now develop two PlayStyles+ at 80 and 90 OVR.
Clubs Mode
To help players progress faster in Clubs, a permanent double XP multiplier is added:
- Accelerated Progression: Earn double XP after matches, allowing faster unlocking of slots and PlayStyles.
Star Heads Update
The update includes 27 new player star heads, enhancing the likenesses of players from the Premier League. Players like Rodri, Sven Botman, Pedro Porro, and Eberechi Eze will receive updated likenesses. Here is the complete list of new updates:

Bug Fixes
In addition to these updates, EA has also addressed a few issues in FC 24 such as:
- Addressed instances of Loan Player matches exceeding 99 when combined with a duplicate Loan Player.
- In certain situations where the Goalkeeper was rushing out, CPU AI controlled players would attempt to perform a chip shot and miss the net unintentionally.
- In some stadiums, ball kids could miss their throws to the intended player.
- In Manager Career, Player Items on International Duty could not be removed from the Starting 11 or Substitutions.
- Addressed instances of players being able to Matchmake with different Matchmaking settings.
- Addressed instances of instability issues that could have occurred.
- Addressed instances of placeholder images.
- Addressed instances of incorrect or placeholder text.
Title Update #15 is available on all platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
