Following the exciting news of Napoli’s partnership with EA Sports, AS Roma is also set to make a return as a fully licensed team in EA SPORTS FC 25.
AS Roma’s inclusion in FC 25 follows their recent departure from Konami’s eFootball series. Since 2020, AS Roma was exclusive to Konami and featured as Roma FC in the EA Sports FC series, formerly FIFA.
With a new exclusive, multi-year partnership, AS Roma will once again feature in the EA SPORTS FC series with their real name, kits, and badge. This agreement also brings Roma’s Women’s team to EA SPORTS FC 25, making them one of two Italian women’s teams licensed for the FC series, alongside Juventus Women.
The recent announcement did not specify whether the iconic Stadio Olimpico will be included, but more details will be revealed when EA Sports releases the full licenses list in September.
Starting with the next edition, AS Roma will also be featured across FC Mobile and FC Online, offering fans a more authentic football experience.
FC 25 will be released worldwide on September 27, 2024, and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
