In a recent study conducted by WhichBingo, FC 24 players were ranked the lowest in average IQ among players of popular video games. The survey, which more than 1,000 gamers, assessed cognitive skills such as verbal communication, mathematics, logic, and visual reasoning. According to the study, FC 24 / FIFA 23 players had an average IQ of 89.8, placing them at the bottom of the list.
At the top of the rankings, League of Legends players scored an impressive 120.4, making them the smartest gaming community, followed by Black Myth: Wukong players with an IQ of 119.8. The study highlights a trend — games with more complex mechanics and strategy tend to attract players with higher cognitive performance.
Beyond game rankings, the study also revealed differences in IQ based on platform and gender. PC gamers came out on top with an average IQ of 114.1, while mobile and tablet gamers scored the lowest at 99.9. Players on PlayStation had an average IQ of 111, outperforming both Xbox players (105.9) and Nintendo Switch players (103.4).
In terms of gender, female gamers scored slightly higher than their male counterparts, with an average IQ of 107.9 compared to 105.8 for men.
