Football Manager 2025

Football Manager 2025 developed by Sports Interactive is scheduled to release on March 2025. The game was initially planned to be launched in November 2024, but the developers decided to delay its release to ensure they can give the best playing experience for the fans.
Sport Interactive stated that the switch from Match Engine to Unity Engine will mark the biggest visual and technical advancement in the history of the series. They also able to strengthen their licensing line-up, by officially partnering with Premier League as well as adding women’s football to the game.
Copa City

- Platform: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
- Release date: 2025
Triple Espresso shocked the football gaming world by releasing the first trailer for Copa City in June 2024. Unlike other football games that focuses on playing the games or managing a team, Copa City puts you in a role as an event organizer to prepare the city for high profile football matches.
As a football management game, this game gives you tasks like preparing fan zones, arranging the media facilities, and ensuring both teams arrives at the stadium on time. Triple Espresso partners with clubs like FC Bayern, Arsenal, Flamengo, and last but not least Borussia Dortmund, as each team’s supporters have different behaviors that you have to put into considerations as you prepare your city.
The game will also have two authentic cities, Warsaw and Berlin with each cities presenting unique challenges to test your management skills. Triple Espresson haven’t announced the exact release date for the game, but Copa City is currently planned to launch in 2025.
FIFA Rivals

- Platform: Mobile
- Release date: Summer 2025
The split between EA Sports and FIFA saw the end of more than 30 years long of partnership between two parties. As EA Sports moved on and released two titles of EA Sports FC, FIFA also announce FIFA Rivals which is planned to be released in the summer of 2025.
This time FIFA partners with Mytical Games to develop FIFA Rivals, which they said to be the next phase of FIFA’s gaming and esports portfolio. FIFA Rivals players create their own club and matched against other players in PvP environment.
This game will be released on mobile as a free-to-play game and will offer in-game purchases as players can buy and sell their in-game items on the blockchain.
UFL (PC)

- Platform: PC
- Release date: Rumored to be released in 2025
As PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users already welcomed UFL, PC users must wait a little longer to get their hands on the game. Strikerz Inc already confirmed that UFL is coming to PC and will be launched exclusively on Steam.
While the exact release date is still unknown, UFL can already be added to the Steam wishlist. This sparks rumors that the game is planned to be released in 2025, especially after one of the developers on Reddit said that the wait for UFL in PC is almost over. Now we just have to wait for the official announcement, and hopefully this game will be available to play on PC in 2025.
EA Sports FC 26

Despite many new developers are starting to enter the football gaming industry, it’s safe to say the market is still dominated by EA Sports. The release of EA Sports FC 24 and 25 proved that EA Sports can stand on their own feet, without needing the FIFA partnership anymore.
If no major changes happened, EA Sports are going to release EA Sports FC 26 in 2025. The new game will definitely bring an excitement for the fans, especially if EA Sports can build on the positive response on their latest gameplay refreshes in EA Sports FC 25’s Title Update 8. It’s also interesting to see how EA Sports will react after their worst performance in the stock market since 2008, as their stocks dropped by 18%.
