Multiple reports have surfaced recently about bans in FC 24 Ultimate Team, affecting thousands of players. These bans range from temporary soft bans to permanent exclusions from accessing Ultimate Team.
The wave of bans began following the release of Title Update #18 in FC 24, with many players claiming they have been unfairly penalized despite not violating the Terms of Service (ToS).
The initial bans occurred after EA mistakenly awarded incorrect FUT Champions points, which supposedly led to the automatic banning of multiple accounts that had participated in FUT Champs.
One player shared their experience on Reddit, stating, “After today’s update, the game was completely unplayable. People couldn’t finish games, received 1 point instead of 4 for winning WL, and there was a wave of unfair bans for cheating.”
EA has released a statement claiming they have addressed the issue, but they have yet to provide any details regarding the bans.
We identified an issue causing some PC players to receive an incorrect amount of Champions Points after a match, resulting in them receiving incorrect rewards.

Some players reported that their bans were due to using third-party cheating tools and abusing in-game glitches. This has raised concerns that using a popular FUT web app plugin might have been the cause of their bans.
However, some users have reported that EA has started unbanning players affected by this wave of bans, suggesting that an automatic system error might have caused the wrongful bans.
They have started unbanning the users who got banned for no reason today and yesterday!
