After an incredible season that was filled with unbelievable performances, we now know the winner of this year’s eLigue 1 title.
FC Lorient are 2024 eLigue 1 champions after beating OL eSports 4-3 in the Grand Finals which took place on Monday night. Fouma and Montaxer have not only successfully defended the title they won last season but also made it to the upcoming eChampions League and FC Pro World Championships.

The duo will be joined in the eChampions League by OL eSports players Dylo and Leks for finishing as runners-up. The total prize money for this year’s eLigue 1 was a whopping €60,000.
This is the fourth consecutive eLigue 1 title that Fouma has won, cementing his place as the best in France. With the drama seen throughout the season, we come to the conclusion that the eLigue 1 has some of the top players right now of all the top FC Pro leagues.

There has been plenty of action on the esports scene in the past few days as all the remaining major leagues crowned their champions, from eSerie A to WOW Virtual Bundesliga to E-League to LaLiga. But there is still more to come before the season ends.
All eyes will now be shifting to the eChampions League which will start next month as all the top leagues now have representatives. This year’s eChampions League will have more participants and will be a one-month tourney.
The Grand Finals of the star-studded affair will take place on 29 May at Magazine London and EA have already started selling tickets. There’s up to $280,000 up for grabs in the eChampions League.

Afterwards, attention will shift to the first-ever FC Pro World Championship, which will kick off in June. This event, which has a prize pool of $1,000,000, will see the top four players from FC Pro Open take on 28 others from the FC Pro Leagues.
