A new season has kicked off and players are back in FC 24 grinding towards their ‘Ultimate Team’.
In EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team, building a strong squad is what it’s all about. And now, EA has made it easier to know what gamers are getting into when they buy packs.
Facing bans from multiple countries on Player Packs and FC Points being heavily questioned, it was only a matter of time before EA released a solution to address some of these concerns. Although added a few years back, the “Show Pack Probabilities” feature in the game store tells a user the odds of getting players with different ratings in each pack. According to EA, this feature was introduced so players can make smarter choices on how to spend their FC Points, Ultimate Team Coins, and time.
FC 24 Ultimate Team Pack Odds
EA figures out the pack odds by opening tons of packs in simulations, and they update the odds whenever they add new content in-game. Below are specific examples of the probabilities of obtaining players from basic FC 24 Ultimate Team packs:
Premium Gold Pack
- Gold 75+ Player: 100%
- Gold 82+ Player: 29%
- Gold 84+ Player: 7.9%
Premium Gold Players Pack
- Gold 75+ Player: 100%
- Gold 82+ Player: 76%
- Gold 86+ Player: 7.8%
Prime Gold Players Pack

Some special campaigns have rare items with less than 1% chance of getting them, and within this, different items have different chances. The odds shown are for one pack at a time, opening more packs doesn’t increase the chances for a particular item. The example offered by EA is the one of coin flipping, if you flip a coin and get heads three times, the next flip still has a 50-50 chance for heads or tails.
So now, whether a player is saving up for that high-rated player or just excited to open packs, they’ll have a better idea of what to expect.
