EA Sports finally released the highly anticipated Title Update #8 on Thursday (16/1). This update is part of the ongoing Frost Updates series that EA has planned to roll out during the winter season.
This update is known as Gameplay Refresh, with EA Sports improving various aspect of gameplay. Title Update #8 also introduces visual enhancement, including new 144 star heads added to the game.

The long-awaited star heads for the newly promoted Premier League teams have finally arrived. Most of the newly added star heads are for players from Southampton, Leicester City, and Ipswich Town. Players like Omari Hutchinson, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, and Stephy Mavididi are among those who received their first star head in EA Sports FC 25.
Manchester United’s rising star Amad Diallo also got his star head added to the game. Meanwhile, his teammate Kobbie Mainoo is one of 13 players who had their star head updated in Title Update #8.
EA Sports also added new star heads for some managers available in Career Mode. Hansi Flick of FC Barcelona, Enzo Maresca of Chelsea, and Fabien Hürzeler of Brighton & Hove Albion will feature their updated faces once the upcoming squad update is rolled out.
In addition to the new star heads, EA Sports updated the broadcast packages for several leagues. Title Update #8 introduced a fresh and clean broadcast package for Ligue 2, offering a more immersive experience when playing Career Mode or Kick-Off.
Starting a new Road to Glory save in France has never been more exciting. EA Sports also updated the broadcast package for Ligue 1, incorporating McDonald’s branding, just like what you see in real-life broadcasts.
