Konami announced the Season 3 Update for eFootball 2024!
The theme for Season 3 is “Unite on the Pitch” which reflects the additions and improvements of this update. The main addition is the introduction of My League, a mode similar to career mode that allows players to compete in global leagues with their Dream Team. Unique features of this mode include accumulating My League Points to sign Epic players on loan and maintaining player conditions.
Another major addition is the Co-op Events feature, where users can compete online in teams. Moreover, players can now engage in daily mini-games to earn GP, training items, and Chance Deals for a Limited Draw.
A new Booster enhances player abilities based on the number of players meeting a specific condition in a player’s Game Plan. For instance, having more “J.League” players in the Game Plan will significantly boost abilities.

Konami also introduced the“Blitz Curler” Player Skill. This skill enables players to execute a Controlled Shot with vertical rotation, triggered by a 50% or more Power Gauge input. It’s effective with the dominant foot or a player with high Weak Foot Accuracy and requires a balanced body position.
Furthermore, The eFootball League has undergone significant improvements for a better playing experience. It’s now divided into three main groups to ensure more appropriate matchmaking, and players in Divisions 2 and 3 are also included in the revamped Rating system. Additionally, the league introduces VS AI matches in Divisions 7-9, offering the same points as PvP matches. Lastly, the new phase transition regulations consider a player’s highest ever Division reached, allowing for a smoother and more equitable progression in the game.

■ Feature Addition and Changes
・ Added a new VS AI game mode “My League” where users can participate in leagues from around the world using Dream Team.
・ Added Co-op Events where users can compete online in teams.
・ eFootball™ League has been redesigned for greater enjoyment and playability.
・ Added a mini-game for users to earn various rewards everyday.
・ In addition to the existing Contract Renewal (60 Days) and Contract Renewal (10 Days), users will be able to renew player contracts using GP.
・ In online matches, the number of times a user can perform an unskippable goal celebration will be limited to once per match.
・ Users will be able to play the Training mode with Dream Team players.
・ Made changes to the presentation of player signings.
・ Made changes to the layout of the Top Menu.
・ Implemented changes so that some players with fixed Live Update Ratings will now have fluctuating Live Update Ratings.
・ Implemented changes so that if users do not have enough players who meet the Event Conditions of Themed Events, fictitious players are now given as Loan Players.
・ Implemented adjustments to Events with “Event Conditions” or “Player Bonus” so that the Conditions are deemed met as long as the players’ team affiliation or the players themselves fall under the indicated Conditions.
・ Match Time is now displayed on the screen when making player substitutions during a match.

・ The team structure of Serie BKT (Italy) has been partially updated.

■ Gameplay Fixes and Adjustments
In this update, our emphasis was on correcting and adjusting areas of the game where certain situations could lead to unconvincing or unintended behaviours, without significantly changing the game balance that you have been enjoying.
〇 Passing
・ Implemented adjustments to alleviate the issue of players not being able to receive passes adequately.
・ Fixed an issue where the ball would sometimes hit the kicking foot again after playing a slow through ball.
〇 Others
・ Implemented changes to the degree of influence the “Kicking Power” Player Stat has on the shot speed of free kicks.
When performing fast shots, the travelling speed of shots taken by players with a higher “Kicking Power” Player Stat will be a bit faster than normal.
・ Fixed the issue where the ball would sometimes bounce excessively wide upon hitting a player, such as when blocked.
・ Implemented adjustments so that the cursor will switch to a more appropriate player in defensive situations.
・ Implemented adjustments to Manual Cursor Change so that players situated in spots with substantial angle differences from the input direction are less likely to be selected.
・ Fixed an issue where a teammate would not stop marking a player controlled by the opposition with Off the Ball Controls, even if the player the user is controlling is better positioned to perform man marking.
・ Fixed an issue where players would sometimes be unable to avoid goal posts and goal nets.
■ Global Improvements
・ A variety of minor adjustments have been made to each mode and to matches, with the aim of improving the overall gaming experience.
・ The Steam Invite function is now available.
■ General Fixes Applied to Mitigate or Eliminate the Bugs Shown Below
・ Managers’ Team Playstyle Proficiencies are not functioning as intended in online User Matches. As a result, the indicated Player Stats changes are not being reflected in-match.
・ When the goalkeeper joins in on the attack in the opponent’s penalty area during corner kicks in second half added time with the Attack/Defence Level being raised to max, the goalkeeper may stand still once the opposition claims possession of the ball and may not return to his own goal.
・ The match time display may disappear during matches.
