The English Football League (EFL) and EA Sports have officially extended their partnership for an additional five seasons, ensuring their collaboration will last through the 2028/29 season. This partnership, which began in 2006, has allowed EA Sports FC to become an integral part of the EFL experience, both for fans and within the gaming community.
EA Sports FC 24 includes detailed representations of all 72 EFL clubs across Championship, League One and League Two, and over 1,800 players, ensuring gamers have access to an authentic EFL experience. This partnership has proven popular among the gaming community, with over 75 million EFL matches played in in-game this season.

The collaboration has also supported inclusivity initiatives, such as featuring the EFL’s Rainbow match ball in-game to mark LGBTQ+ History Month.
Furthermore, EA Sports FC will continue to sponsor the Young Player of the Season award, emphasizing their support for emerging talent within the EFL’s ranks. The winners will receive special players items in FC 24 Ultimate Team that can be obtained via Squad Building Challenges or Objectives.
