Wednesday means a brand-new Team of the Week is released for Football Ultimate Team (FUT) players. Unfortunately, many don’t seem to be happy with the list of players EA Sports has chosen for TOTW 25.
Not many game-changing players involved in TOTW 25, which could be the reason for Ultimate Team fans’ disappointment. Nevertheless, here are the 23 players featured on this week’s Team of the Week in EA Sports FC 25:

- Melvine Malard (Manchester United Women’s Team) – 88 OVR
- Granit Xhaka (Bayer Leverkusen) – 88 OVR
- Ivan Toney (Al Ahli) – 87 OVR
- Desire Doue (PSG) – 87 OVR
- Mattia Zaccagni (Latium) – 87 OVR
- Riccardo Orsolini (Bologna) – 87 OVR
- Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) – 87 OVR
- Mika Biereth (Monaco) – 87 OVR
- Ronald Araujo (FC Barcelona) – 87 OVR
- Adam Daghim (RB Salzburg) – 85 OVR
- Tai Baribo (Philladelphia Union) – 85 OVR
- Thorgan Hazard (Anderlecht) – 85 OVR
- Marius Muller (VFL Wolfsburg) – 85 OVR
- Oliver Antman (Go Ahead Eagles) – 85 OVR
- Robin Gosens (Fiorentina) – 85 OVR

- Mert Muldur (Fenerbahce) – 85 OVR
Christopher Nkunku, Melvine Malard, and Granit Xhaka are three of the highest-rated players in TOTW 25, each with an 88-rated OVR. However, with the power curve at its highest point in the game so far, many Ultimate Team fans believe they serve as nothing more than fodder cards for big SBCs.
Twitter user @dec_sufc didn’t hold back, stating, “This TOTW is absolutely abysmal. None of these are usable.” Meanwhile, @nanayaw_mensahh questioned the overall quality of TOTW selections, asking, “Have we ever had usable Team of the Weeks?” Last but not least, @Razzerstrading summed it up in just two words: “All fodder.”

Many players featured in TOTW 25 already have better alternatives available. For example, Dominik Szoboszlai has a better version from the Season 5 rewards, while Ronald Araújo recently received a Grassroots Greats player item. The inclusion of those players makes the latest TOTW selections feel even less impactful for FUT players.
All TOTW 25 player items are availabe in packs until Wednesday, 12 March 2025.
